All Greek Ball is an award ceremony for all of the Greek organizations on campus. We compete for the top awards in which represent different parts of our chapter life such as community service, member education, scholarship, alumnae relations, and more. There are also individual awards given out.
This year, Sigma Kappa came out with 3 awards!!!
Sigma Kappa won the Community Involvement award which recognizes the chapter who has the most involvement and leadership in campus clubs and organizations.
Kate Gabor won Greek Ambassador of the Year. She received this award for showing true leadership in the clubs and organizations she is involved in. She is the treasurer of Advertising Club, a member of the Journalism Student Advisory Board, Director of Academics for Panhellenic, and a past member of PRSSA.
President, Megan Stanphill, won Most Outstanding President. She has received this award due to her hard work and dedication to Sigma Kappa.
Members Alli Cernoch, Ashley Belka and Melissa O’Connor were accepted into Order of Omega, a Greek honor society on campus.
Member Jessica Deal was accepted into Gamma Sigma Alpha, a Greek honor society on campus.

Every year, Sigma Kappa Sorority walks in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk to show support for the estimated 5.3 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease. We would like to invite others to join us on the walk on October 10th at Reno High School at 9 a.m.
Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised $230 million for Alzheimer care, support and research. By teaming up with others, we’re hoping to do our part to fight this deadly disease.
Funds raised through Memory Walk go toward research to treat and prevent Alzheimer’s, and programs to improve the lives of millions of Americans already affected.
We’re on the MOVE to end Alzheimer’s disease!
