New Year-New Rooms!!
This year we have a whole new group of girls moving into the house for the first time, girls switching room, redecorating, cramming as many clothes as possible into the closets, all while trying on all the others shoes and clothes they can manage! It’s the day we all look forward to! Everyone is finally together again and getting settled in the Sigma Kappa Kappa Xi home! During the summer we communicate through Facebook wall posts, group Skype dates, text messages, and long phone calls so it is no surprise that the day everyone begins moving in is the day that everyone looks forward to. This is not just because of the great experiences that are bound to follow, and that recruitment is right around the corner, but because our Sigma Kappa family is finally back together.
Ask anyone and they will tell you most of their memories have occurred late at night between random moments at the house. It is an amazing experience that everyone has the chance to be a part of. There is always someone willing to go for a Wal Mart run at midnight, go to the gym or for a run around campus, or a late night study break at USwirl. The Sigma Kappa house is not just a house with thirty-eight women living there, it is a home filled with sisters and best friends.
